A river flows
to a calm lake
basking in
algae-forming
sunshine
creating new life
giving the air
breathing room,
fresh oxygen
before it moves
on its way again
toward its source
of life-giving
storms
to weather
individual droplets
joining together
on their way
for another
evaporation
evading
trip.
