Living My Dreams

I want to follow my dream.  I don't know what that is yet but I'm willing to find out.  I want to go forward without a map or a plan, specifically, except with the intention of discovering myself.  Who resides deep within there?  Who hasn't come out for--who knows how long--maybe forever, or for at least a very long time?  When it first peeked it's head out and almost got it shot off and decided to stay hidden and "safe"?
Risks.  Who takes them?  And why?
What powerful motivation is enough to venture out of that hidden cave into a land of unknown dangers--maybe most of them reside just between our ears and are never even given the chance to see the light of day even if we wanted to have them let out.
Going forward on a dream.  A wisp of an intention that has heretofore not had the power to get itself into motion and sits, dead in the water, without the hint of a breeze of life to carry it forward.
Like looking for a lost object in a totally dark room without any source of light except within.
Groping about, bumping into things that go bump in the night, and you have 364 days of the year not to be out on Halloween where the really scary creatures reside............yet you freeze at at every turn of the path that may take you to freedom thinking that monsters and creatures of horrendous description are there on that path you have not the strength to deal with.
But leaving your house once a day is commonplace for most people if only to throw out the garbage.
Some people would choose to sit in the stink and stench of it all than try to clean up their act.
My "reasons" and excuses and "rational"izations for not going forward toward my however hazy at the moment dreams all are invalid statements all about my fears and character that dreams and imagines lives many-lived but none outside of my humble doorway through which I must pass to have any of them materialize into the "real" world.
It seems there should be an ending to this short description of my new found spiritual arising to go into another realm leaving this old, musty, tried and worn and wanting reality as a bad memory of stuckness that refused to budge under even my most earnest previously held intentionalities.
But there isn't.
It's instead a meager (maybe not so meager) beginning to launch into somewhere I had no realization even existed, waiting for me to show up.  What took you so long?
